BMBL Explodes 50% Pre-Market While SPX Flatlines at $7,807

Bumble is the only real story on the scanner this morning — 50% gap on 19.3x RVOL. SPX is stuck, tech is the drag, and the 10Y at 5.19% is the number I'm watching closest today.

Mario's take

SPX is essentially flat at $7,807 while tech bleeds -1.22% — this is not a broad bull tape, it's a sector rotation morning. Energy leading at +1.43% with crude down -1.32% is a disconnect I'm not chasing. The 10Y yield sitting at 5.189% is the macro overhang that explains everything.

On my radar
  • BMBL $3.80 — RVOL 19.3x, float 151.6M, catalyst-driven +49.61% gap. This is the only setup worth stalking today. I'm not chasing the open — I want a 5-minute consolidation above $3.50 before I touch it. Momentum entry only if it holds and builds. Stop goes under $3.30.
  • FIGS $17.74 — RVOL 3.1x, float 167.1M, +12.42% on a catalyst. Cleaner float story than ENHA. Watching $17.00 as the line — if it pulls back and holds that level in the first 30 minutes, I'll consider a scalp.
  • BLCO $16.07 — RVOL 8.6x, down -7.11% with momentum. Short thesis is valid below $16.00. I want confirmation it can't reclaim that level before sizing in.
Levels I care about
  • SPX $7,807 is the pivot — a clean break below $7,780 and I expect tech-led selling to accelerate toward $7,740.
  • 10Y Yield 5.189% — if this pushes above 5.20% intraday, growth names get hit hard and I'm trimming any tech exposure immediately.
  • Gold $4,207 holding above $4,180 keeps my bullion thesis intact. DXY softening at 102.24 is a tailwind here.
  • BTC $83,208 — Crypto Fear & Greed at 57 (Greed) with BTC up nearly 2%. Watching $84,500 as the next resistance.
How I'm positioned

Holding gold and BTC long-term — not touching either today. My day trade focus is entirely on BMBL; it's the only name with real RVOL and a legible catalyst. I'm sitting on my hands until the first 5-minute candle closes and I can see whether institutions are distributing into this gap or absorbing it. If BMBL fails $3.50 on the open, I walk away completely — I don't fight failed gaps on high-float names. Half-size on any day trade today given the tech drag and that 10Y yield sitting at the edge. Today's last hour, I'm reassessing SPX's reaction to $7,780 — that level tells me everything about tomorrow's positioning.
