TGE Is the Only Trade That Matters Right Now
The morning tape was choppy but tech held the bid. One scanner name is printing an absurd RVOL and it's the only thing worth sizing into this afternoon.

Live tape — what this brief is about
Tech carried the morning and the broader tape is orderly — SPX grinding higher while financials, REITs, and industrials bleed quietly. The divergence is loud if you know how to read it. The 10Y at 5.289% is the anchor dragging rate-sensitive sectors and I'm not fighting that gravity.
On my radar
- TGE $1.36 — RVOL 6,556x, float 48.5M. That RVOL number is not a typo. This is a full catalyst play with institutional-level volume flooding in on a sub-$2 name. I want a clean consolidation above $1.20 before any add. My trigger for a power hour entry is a 5-minute flag forming between $1.25–$1.40 — if it holds and volume stays hot, I'm in with a stop at $1.15.
- BHV $11.75 — 200 SMA bounce on a 1.6M float. RVOL at 1.8x isn't exciting enough for me to chase, but if it pulls to $11.00 and holds, I'd take a small starter into close.
- PACB $2.36 — RVOL 3.4x, float 310M is too fat for my taste. Watching it but not touching it today.
Levels I care about
- SPX $7,700 is the intraday floor — if we lose that into power hour, expect a sell program to $7,660.
- Crude $91.67 surging 2.56% is real. Energy is lagging equities and that gap tends to close fast — watching XLE for a delayed rip.
- Gold $4,192 holding. Silver at -0.78% is diverging from gold, which tells me the safe-haven bid is selective, not a panic rotation.
How I'm positioned
Stock Fear & Greed at 34 (Fear) while SPX is up — that's a green flag for the bulls. Crypto Fear & Greed at 71 (Greed) while BTC is only up 0.54% is a mild caution on adding crypto here. I'm holding my gold position through any dip to $4,150 and BTC through $82,000. I took a half-size starter on TGE at the open and I'm adding into any power hour flag confirmation above $1.30 with a hard stop at $1.15. TRLV is not a short I want — RVOL 1.4x on a down move is weak confirmation.
