Live tape — what this brief is about

Live ·· After hours
Mario's take

Morning came in cleaner than I expected — tech is doing the heavy lifting and the broader tape is holding up despite Health and COMMS bleeding out. The Fear & Greed Index sitting at 31 (Fear) while SPX is green is the kind of divergence I watch closely; it tells me this rally has fuel left because sentiment hasn't caught up to price.

On my radar
  • AHT $2.54 — RVOL 719.9x, float only 6.5M, catalyst-driven momentum. This is the only name I care about right now. I want to see it consolidate above $2.30 and build a flag before power hour. A clean base here and I'm in for a push toward $2.80–$3.00. Anything that cracks $2.20 and I'm out immediately — low float names die fast.
  • AHT-PH $3.96 — sympathetic move on the preferred shares, RVOL only 1.5x so this isn't a trade for me. Just flagging it as confirmation the common is getting real attention.
Levels I care about
  • SPX $7,750 is where we're sitting — I need to see it hold $7,720 into power hour or this rally starts looking like a fakeout.
  • 10Y Yield at 5.111% is the quiet threat in the room. That level historically pressures REITs and growth; REIT is already down 0.59% today, which is the tell.
  • Gold $4,151 is coiling. Silver lagging at -0.47% is a mild warning — when silver diverges from gold this sharply, gold's move tends to stall or reverse short-term. I'm not adding to bullion here.
How I'm positioned

My longer-term gold position is untouched — stops are well below current price and I'm not reacting to one session. BTC at $84,433 with Crypto Fear & Greed at 63 (Greed) is constructive but not a chase level for me. My index exposure is holding with no changes.

For power hour, AHT is the only active trade I'm building a plan around. I'm sizing it at half my normal risk given the volatility profile — 6.5M float stocks can erase 20% in two candles. If it gives me a flag above $2.30 between now and 3:30pm, I'm taking a starter position with a hard stop at $2.18.
