Gold Surging, 10Y at 5.19%, and SPX Flat — Here's My Edge Today

Gold is ripping toward $4,340 while the 10-year yield hits 5.19% and SPX barely moves. The disconnect is loud — here's what I'm trading into the open.

Mario's take

SPX is flatlined at $7,704 but under the hood this tape is not calm — a 5.186% 10-year yield, gold up nearly 1%, and MATS down -1.19% tells me rate pressure is doing real damage while the headline index masks it. This is a market I'm trading with a scalpel, not a sledgehammer.

On my radar
  • UXIN $1.30 — RVOL 205.3x, float listed at 67B (likely a data artifact — confirming before touching it). If float is clean and catalyst is real, $1.10 is my hard stop and I want to see consolidation above $1.20 before any entry.
  • DNA $10.25 — up +19.46% pre-market, RVOL 2.6x, float 62.3M. Cleaner story. Watching for a pullback to $9.60–$9.80 to build a base before I consider a long.
  • EQPT $16.32 — down -9.73% with a catalyst tag. If it bounces into $16.80–$17.00 on low volume, that's a short entry. Target $15.50.
Levels I care about
  • SPX $7,650 is the floor I'm watching — a break there opens a move to $7,580 fast given the yield backdrop.
  • Gold $4,340 — holding above this keeps my bullion thesis intact. A push through $4,360 today and I'm adding.
  • Crude $92.38 dropping -2.36% while energy equities are green (+0.37%) is a red flag divergence. Not touching energy longs.
  • 10Y at 5.186% is the real story. UTIL down -0.98%, REIT down -0.45% — rate-sensitives are bleeding and I'm staying away.
How I'm positioned

Stock Fear & Greed at 36 (Fear) while Crypto sits at 71 (Greed) — that split tells me Bitcoin is running on its own narrative right now, not macro. I'm holding my BTC position but not adding at $84,488 with yields this elevated. Gold is my conviction hold — stop is $4,280, no change.

On the day-trade side, UXIN float data needs verification before I risk a dollar on it. DNA is the cleaner setup if it gives me a proper entry. Sizing at 60% of normal until SPX proves it can hold $7,650. First hour I'm watching, not buying — open is likely to be choppy with this yield print.
