SPX Fades Pre-Market, AOUT Exploding — Here's My Game Plan

SPX is slipping 0.38% pre-market with Health and Consumer leading the bleed. AOUT is up 44% on 65.5x RVOL — this is the only ticker on my radar this morning.

today
Mario's take

SPX is red pre-market and the sector breakdown tells the real story — Health down 1.04%, Consumer down 1.33%, Comms off 1.19%. This isn't a broad risk-off flush, it's rotation out of growth and defensives simultaneously, which makes me cautious about chasing anything index-related into the open.

On my radar
  • AOUT $14.48 — +44.66%, RVOL 65.5x, float 12.5M. This is the cleanest setup on the scanner. Tight float, massive relative volume, pure momentum. I want to see it hold $13.50 on the first pullback and build a flag. Entry on reclaim above $14.75 with a stop back under $13.50.
  • EPRX $8.40 — +12%, RVOL 7.8x, float 65M. Secondary watch. Bigger float means choppier action, but if it holds $8.00 and volume stays elevated I'll consider a small position on a clean break above $8.60.
  • ASAN $8.81 — short side, -12.69%, RVOL 3.5x, bouncing off 200 SMA. If it loses $8.60 on volume I want to be short targeting $8.20. The 200 SMA bounce is a trap until it isn't.
Levels I care about
  • SPX $7,680 is my line — below that and I expect acceleration toward $7,620.
  • BTC $78,500 is the floor I'm watching. Crypto Fear & Greed at 71 (Greed) while BTC drips lower is a divergence I don't ignore.
  • Gold $4,476 is flat — DXY dropping 0.27% and gold not moving tells me gold is consolidating, not breaking. $4,440 is where I'd add.
  • 10Y at 4.784% is the wildcard. Until this starts retreating, pressure on REIT and Finance stays.
How I'm positioned

Gold long from lower — holding, no adds until $4,440. BTC I trimmed 15% of my position last week and I'm glad I did. Day trade sizing today is 60% of normal given the broad sector weakness and zero clean qualifiers on the main scanner. AOUT is the only name I'm swinging at this morning — small size, defined risk under $13.50. If SPX can't hold $7,680 in the first 30 minutes I'm sitting on my hands until midday.
