Morning opened ugly across the board except tech, and that divergence is still intact at midday. SPX is grinding lower on consumer and comms weakness while INDUST and UTIL are barely treading water — this is not a broad rally tape.

On my radar
  • CHPT $9.08 — RVOL 89.8x, float 25.9M, catalyst-driven. A +75% move on a sub-30M float is violent. I want to see it consolidate above $8.50 and build a 15-min flag before I touch it. Chasing into power hour after a move like this is how you get chopped. Trigger only on clean reclaim of $9.20 with volume confirmation.
  • DLTH $4.46 — RVOL 66.3x, float 38M, no headline catalyst I can find which makes me cautious. Pure momentum play. $4.25 is my stop line — if it can hold and coil I'll take a small starter long.
  • PL $18.35 — short side, RVOL 5.8x on a catalyst-driven -8.2% flush. I'm watching $18.80 as a dead-cat bounce level to fade. Not a high-conviction short here given the RVOL is modest compared to the longs.
Levels I care about
  • SPX $7,680 is the line I don't want to see broken — below that I expect acceleration toward $7,640 into the close.
  • Gold $4,491 rejection is notable. A bounce off $4,460 keeps my bullion thesis intact; breach of that and I'm trimming.
  • 10Y at 4.770% is doing real damage to consumer and finance. That's the macro leak under this tape.
How I'm positioned

Stock Fear & Greed sitting at 41 (Fear) while crypto Fear & Greed is at 74 (Greed) — that split tells me BTC is running its own narrative right now and I'm not trusting it given Bitcoin is actually down 2.3% today. That index is lagging. I'm holding my gold position with a stop at $4,455 and I'm not adding here. Day-trade sizing is at 75% normal until SPX shows me whether $7,680 holds into power hour. If CHPT flags cleanly above $8.50 in the next 30 minutes I'll take a small position with a hard stop at $8.20. Otherwise I'm watching, not swinging.
