SPX went nowhere but industrials quietly led. Gold slipped nearly 1%, scanner was a ghost town, and GENB got destroyed on catalyst. Here's how I'm grading today.
SPX closed basically unchanged at $7,681 and I'll take it — flat days after a strong run are distribution or consolidation, and right now the tape feels more like consolidation. The sector rotation today told the real story.

Industrials up 1.21% and tech up 0.63% — those are my two strongest long exposures and both held up. Health at -0.93% stung a small speculative position I'm carrying; I've got a stop just below $14.20 and I'm not adding.
Scanner flagged zero qualifiers today. Zero. That's a message — don't force trades on a nothing tape. I passed on BZ because 947M float kills the move, and that was right. GENB was the best actionable name but I didn't catch it intraday.
Gold stop stays at $4,580. Not moving it higher in the middle of a DXY bounce. Bitcoin at $78,507 with Crypto Fear & Greed at 65 — not chasing, not selling. Tomorrow I'm watching whether $7,700 on SPX holds as support or resistance at the open.
