SPX closed flat-ish at $7,748 but the rotation under the hood told a different story. Here's how the day graded out and what I'm watching tomorrow.
Grind day. SPX ended up +0.27% at $7,748.82 but the real story is the divergence — Tech ripped +1.49% while Consumer dropped -1.14% and Materials cratered -1.23%. That's not a bull market broadening, that's a defensive rotation into quality growth. I'll take it, but I'm not high-fiving anyone.

Day grade: B-. I caught the Tech-led morning move but sized too conservatively going into the afternoon. Gold position is sitting pretty — not touching it. BTC I'm holding core but not adding while crypto sentiment is this washed out against an otherwise greedy equity tape. That divergence resolves one of two ways: crypto catches up, or equities correct. I'm not guessing which — I'm waiting for confirmation.
Tomorrow I'm laser-focused on SMWB at the open. If it builds a flag above $8.20 in the first 15 minutes, I'm in with a stop at $7.90.
