SPX slipped 0.30% but the real story is the rotation — energy and utilities ran while tech and comms bled. Zero scanner qualifiers today, but three tickers still made noise.
Rotation day. Not a panic, not a rip — just capital moving from growth into energy and utilities while the broad tape drifted lower. SPX closed at $7,730.16, down 0.30%, which is basically nothing, but the sector spread tells a cleaner story than the index does.

Scanner qualified zero tickers today, which means I sat mostly in cash on the day-trade side. That's fine — I don't manufacture setups. My longer book is holding gold steady, BTC is soft at $63,336 with Crypto Fear & Greed at 29 (Fear), and I'm not adding there until I see stabilization above $65,000. Silver's weakness has me trimming half my silver position at the open tomorrow if we don't reclaim $65.50 in pre-market. Energy is the sector I'm pivoting toward — if crude holds above $83, I'm opening a small position in an energy name at tomorrow's open. Grading today: B-minus. Preserved capital, didn't chase, but I left FF money on the table by not having it flagged pre-market.
