A brutal session across almost every sector — SPX shed 161 handles, gold got slammed $172, and my scanner came up empty on clean setups. Here's the full damage report and what I'm doing about it.

Crypto Fear & Greed at 9 (Extreme Fear) and BTC is barely green at $61,866 — that divergence is actually a mild positive signal but I'm not adding here. My gold position took the hardest hit today. I'm holding, not adding, with a stop mentally set at $4,000. I trimmed my SPX index exposure by 15% into the close — I want dry powder if we see $7,100–$7,150. Day trades: scanner flagged zero clean setups, I sat on my hands for most of the afternoon and that was the right call. Tomorrow I'm watching the pre-market reaction to see if today's selling was a flush or the start of something bigger. First hour behavior on SPX is everything.
